Shaq's Big Challenge

I watched "Shaq's Big Challenge" on TV last night. My biggest problem with almost all reality TV is that encourages people to talk trash about each other. If I were an alien dropping in on this planet I might think the most important aspect of being an American would be the ability to slam other people verbally. It's just not given a second thought about how damaging this is.

What impresses me about this shcw on ABC is the vulnerability of these kids. Their weight, distaste of exercise, and hypertaste of junk food is one thing but their bond with each other is truly incredible and truly something for television to be proud of putting on display. It is simply a precious reminder that nothing gets to our core like childhood best friends. First friendships are truly forever friendships.
